Vladimir Kagan's In-Flight side table debuted in 1982 and has since been reinterpreted with a wider range of contemporary finishes. Illustrating the designer's interest in suspension, its cantilevered top rests on a weighted base, creating an effect of lightness. Combining metal, wood, and glass, this design is available in various finishes to suit any space.

Details: 

  • Handcrafted by highly skilled artisans in the United States.
  • The central column is cut from industrial steel, repurposing a mass-produced object and incorporating it into an entirely new context.
  • The stainless steel is oiled and finished by hand for a patinated look, available in gunmetal steel or smoked steel finishes.
  • Designed with a weighted base to support the cantilevered top, allowing the surface to float in space.
  • A solid wood edge frames a hand-veneered subtop, with the option of a 3/8-in (0.95 cm) clear or smoked glass top.
  • Adherence to traditional craftsmanship ensures heritage quality, while the use of modern materials and techniques ensures longevity and performance.

Delivery within Paris

Paris and nearby suburbs (up to 10 km from the showroom): €39, by courier or by our team. We confirm the date as soon as we receive your order.

Delivery on quotation

For French overseas territories and countries without an online rate, choose “Delivery on quotation” (“Livraison sur devis”) at checkout: delivery to the freight forwarder of your choice in France or Europe, or a full study for delivery to your door. We contact you with options and costs before anything is shipped: nothing leaves without your approval.

  • Item out of stock or made to order: we tell you the lead time before confirming your order.

Customs

Outside the European Union (United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, United States, Canada…), any customs duties and import taxes are not collected when you order: they may be requested on delivery and are payable by the recipient.

Packaging, tracking and delivery

  • Every order is carefully packed, with extra protection for fragile pieces. Palletised lighting is delivered by appointment.
  • As soon as your order ships, you receive your tracking number by e-mail.
  • On delivery, check the parcel in front of the driver. If it is damaged, write precise reservations on the delivery note, or refuse it if the damage is unacceptable, then let us know as soon as possible, with photos.
