18th Century Style Book by Assouline

Description

The 18th century embodies aesthetic perfection through monuments like Versailles and the opulence of Marie Antoinette's court, showcasing the Enlightenment ideals of reason and freedom. From rococo to neoclassicism, it marked a dynamic era in arts, design and literature, whose stylistic codes still inspire contemporary creators.
