About the Author

Melinda Stevens is the founder and creative director of Salt Lick, an agency whose clients include LVMH and Loupe. She was previously editor-in-chief of Condé Nast Traveler UK and then Condé Nast Traveler US. An award-winning columnist and editor, she has written several books for Assouline, produces magazines for Belmond, is an advisor on Step: Your World, supports chefs in schools and works alongside talent and brands in travel, fashion and lifestyle to bring the best. out of both.

Issy von Simson is a highly experienced editor, writer and content consultant. Most recently, she was editor of Loupe, a new digital travel platform focused on the UK. Prior to that, she spent 16 years at Condé Nast leading editorial teams, setting content strategy and working across wellness, beauty and travel, both for Condé Nast Traveler magazines. and Tatler, as well as for their independent guides.

Tabitha Joyce is a digital editor who spent 10 years at Condé Nast Traveler and is now a freelance writer and content consultant working with various international publications, including the annual Belmond Worlds. She specializes in food and travel writing and was co-author with Melinda of their previous book Assouline, Chic Stays.
