The book brings together more than three hundred images—from rare behind-the-scenes photos to design drawings and production documents—and Corbould's commentary reveals the secrets of these masterful sequences (engineering workarounds, stunts performed in a single take, near-catastrophes) and the vehicles that made them possible.
James Bond Cars offers a film-by-film journey, beginning with James Bond's Sunbeam Alpine in Dr. No (1962) and ending with the bullet-riddled Aston Martin DB5 in No Time to Die (2021). The book features 007's vehicles, but also those of his allies, love interests, and enemies over six decades—from Bentleys, BMWs, and Land Rovers to Sunseekers, Glastrons, and Boeing 747s. The most iconic brand of the saga, Aston Martin, appears in nearly half the films and features in this book through more than a dozen models, including the DB5, DBS, V8, Vanquish, and many more. Through hundreds of vehicles driving on land, sailing the seas, or cutting through the air (or even space), James Bond Cars celebrates the Bond franchise as the ultimate automotive testing ground in cinema.
To mark the release of its third title dedicated to James Bond, James Bond Cars, Assouline will offer a limited-edition "007 Trilogy" box set, which also includes James Bond Destinations and James Bond Style. Packaging, tracking and delivery
- Every order is carefully packed, with extra protection for fragile pieces. Palletised lighting is delivered by appointment.

- On delivery, check the parcel in front of the driver. If it is damaged, write precise reservations on the delivery note, or refuse it if the damage is unacceptable, then let us know as soon as possible, with photos.
