Ferrari 250 GTO 24H Le Mans 1962 Model Car
The Ferrari 250 GTO is a grand touring (GT) car produced by Ferrari from 1962 to 1964 for homologation in the FIA Group 3 Grand Touring car category. It was powered by Ferrari's Colombo Tipo 168/62 V12 engine.
The "250" in its name refers to the displacement in cubic centimeters of each of its cylinders; "GTO" stands for Gran Turismo Omologato, which translates to "Homologated Grand Tourer" in Italian.
Only 36 examples of the 250 GTO were built between 1962 and 1964.
We are offering the car that finished first in the GT category and second overall at the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans, driven by Jean Guichet and Pierre Noblet, chassis number 3705GT.
Faithfully replicating the car that raced, this reproduction was made possible thanks to numerous official photographs from the time.
A limited-edition, numbered model.
Made in Italy and in SARONNO.
(Plexiglass included)
